Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh nilai tukar rupiah terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Data yang dianalisis adalah data tahun 2006q1-2015q2. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan VAR. Sebagai variabel terikat adalah PDB riil (OUTPUT), inflasi (INF), ekspor neto (NX), dan suku bunga bank Indonesia (IR) dan sebagai variabel bebas adalah nilai tukar riil (RER). Temuan berdasarkan analisis VAR dalam impulse response menyimpulkan bahwa, hubungan nilai tukar riil masih kecil mempengaruhi peningkatan PDB riil, dikarenakan ekspor neto yang kecil nilainya serta suku bunga bank Indonesia yang kurang efektif dalam menurunkan inflasi dan menunjang peningkatan PDB riil.
