Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi biaya ekonomi deforestasi yang terjadi di Indonesia dan kontribusinya terhadap PDB sub-sektor kehutanan di Indonesia pada tahun 2011 hingga 2013. Terdapat dua variabel utama dalam penelitian ini, yaitu nilai ekonomi deforestasi dan EDP (Eco Domestic Product) atau PDH (Produk Domestik Hijau). Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengestimasi nilai ekonomi deforestasi yaitu benefit transfer dengan menggunakan pendekatan Nilai Ekonomi Total (TEV – Total Economic Value). Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa biaya riil deforestasi di Indonesia selama tahun 2011 hingga tahun 2013 mengalami peningkatan hampir empat kali lipat atau sebesar Rp 1,5 miliar menjadi Rp 5,6 miliar. Nilai PDH riil Indonesia tahun 2011 sebesar Rp 51,8 triliun, meningkat 1,58 persen menjadi Rp 52,6 triliun pada tahun 2012, dan menurun 0,53 persen menjadi Rp 52,3 triliun pada tahun 2013. Kontribusi deforestasi terhadap PDB sub sektor kehutanan kurang dari satu persen, namun nilainya selalu mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan tahun 2013
