Abstract

This study was going to know the doses conformity effect of antimalaria drug administration to curing of illness and to know the factors that influence to doses conformity effect of antimalaria drug administration to malaria patient in TTS district. The study design was Study Case Control with samples were 148 malaria patients. In epidemiological, the study result divided to three basements i.e people, timing and place. It was showed the results as followed; based on peoples; the dose conformity of antimalaria drug administration has significant effect to the curing of illness. Variables that have significant effect to doses conformity of antimalaria drug administration were education, knowledge of drug, perception to the purposes of antimalaria drug, perception to the obstacles in treatment finding and drug administration. Whereas the variable that has no difference were age, sex, occupation, knowledge of malaria disease, perception to malaria disease danger and peoples support. Based on timing, the most patient was found in June about 74 patients (50,0%). It was caused by number of filling water reservoir (the breeding site of Anopheles mosquitoes) and high air humidity (indoor ± 78,9% and outdoor ± 79,9%) which cause the mosquitoes were more active, more often biting and more to breed. Based on place, the most patient was found in Panite Primary Health Center region, i.e 36 patients (24%), it because of this area has the most number of mosquitoes breeding sites than others.
