Abstract
The prevalence of obesity was higher in women than men. Based on Riskesdas 2007, the prevalence of obesity in women was 24,1% while in man was 8,1%. Obesity occurs due to many factors that majority was caused by an imbalance of energy intake or food with energy expenditure. Aims of this research was to determine blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, blood pressure and body fat composition in obese and non obese woman. Samples were 34 people with the criteria of woman aged 20-45 years, low socioeconomic status, unpregnant and not suffered from serious illness. This research was used cross-sectional study to analyze preprandial blood levels, postprandial blood levels, LDL cholesterol levels, HDL, triglycerides and fatty composition with obesity. T-test result of composition of fats obtained p = 0.000. The p value was significant on the composition of fat. There was significant difference between composition of fat women with obese and non-obese. There was difference between levels of consumption with the risk of obesity. This research suggested reducing carbohydrates intake because high levels of carbohydrates intake in a woman obesity may affect the composition of the body fat.
