Abstract

Period advancement makes information can be accessed easily. Moreover, information source is also progressed. It is not only in either the printed, electronic, or interpersonal forms, but it also in a new media, internet. The research with title of “Information Source of HIV AIDS for ROCKet Community” ia a quantitative research with 125 persons as respondents. Purpose of this research is to know what kind of information sources used by ROCKet community related to HIV AIDS knowledge and also the information sources applied most. This community is chosen, because it has various membership. It can be said that ROCKet community has a close relationship to HIV AIDS because there are some of its members are ever trapped into free interaction in the past. Thus, information source is essential to satisfy the information needs of HIV AIDS. One need to be paid attention in this research is what kind of information used by ROCKet community members and which information is used most.
