Abstract
This research generally is to study the influence of Entrakid milk and Biscuit MP-ASI giving toward the increasing of undernutrition status of children 12 – 24 months in Pulang Pisau Regency. This research was experimental study with single blind research with giving duration was 60 day. Sample of research was children 12 – 24 months who have undernutrition status with Z-score index BW/A -3 SD to < -2 SD that was divided to two groups. They obtained from research locations namely Kecamatan kahayan Kuala for 16 underfive children who got Entrakid milk and Kecamatan Pandih batu for 16 underfive children who got Biscuit MP-ASI. Each group that collected from simple random sampling. There were significant difference of body weight in the group with Entrakid milk and Biscuit MP-ASI before and after research, using paired t test (p=0,000). There was difference of Z-score index BW/A in the group with Entrakid milk and Biscuit MP-ASI before and after research with using paired t test (p=0,001). There was difference significant of body weight and Z-score index BW/A after treatment with using independent sample t test (p = 0,001 and p = 0,03). There was difference of Z-score indek BW/H in the group of Entrakid and Biscuit MP-ASI before and after treatment with analysis paired t test (p=0,000). Finale result indicated that both suplementary feeding can inrease the body weight, but the group of Entrakid milk the average difference of body weigth and Z-score index BW/A increase was higher and better than in the group of Biscuit MP-ASI.
