Abstract

The research of the impact of using the window width verity and window level toward the citra Scan to the maxillofacial fraktur case in radiology installation at emergency department of general hospital dr Soetomo Surabaya has been done. The research is done, because the window width verity and window level are one of the factors which can influence the sensitivity quality picture toward the result of citra Scan. The research aims to compare the quality picture by choosing the window width verity and window level, so that the citra produces the sensitive result. This research constitutes the experimental research without giving any treatment to the patient. It is done by formatting the data result of citra Scan of the head withal the maxillofacial fraktur case. The formatting result is to be compared to thirty respondents by giving questionnaire to assess the picture quality which can show the sensitive result. Afterward the data is processed by a descriptive method. The research result of the instrument Toshiba Aquilion CXL 128 Slice proves that the value of the window width 500 and window level 1500 are able to give the citra CT Scan result for the sensitive maxillofacial fraktur case.
