Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh pemberian isolat triterpenoid kulit batang Alstonia scholaris (L) R. Br. pada spermatogenesis tikus. Penelitian menggunakan 3 kelompok hewan coba masing-masing terdiri atas 7 ekor tikus jantan strain Wistar. Kelompok I diberi isolat dengan dosis 100 mg/kg berat badan. Kelompok II diberi isolat dengan dosis 200 mg/kg berat badan. Kelompok III sebagai kelompok kontrol hanya diberi minyak Sesami. Perlakuan dilakukan setiap hari, secara oral, selama 49 hari. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pemberian isolat triterpenoid kulit batang Alstonia sholaris (LJ R. Br. dengan dosis 100 mg/kg berat badan dan 200 mg/ kg berat badan, secara oral, sehari sekali, selama 49 hari dapat mempengaruhi spermatogenesis tikus.
