Abstract
Australia adalah salah satu negara yang telah memberi perhatian serius terhadap hubungan bilateralnya dengan Indonesia. Secara resmi kedua negara ini mulai menjalin hubungan diplomatik tahun 1950. Walau demikian hubungan baik antara Indonesia dan Australia telah terjalin semenjak Indonesia pertama kali menyatakan kemerdekaannya pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1945.
