Abstract

Quality of sperm is the major factor of successfully fertilisation, but sperm quality is very susceptible concerning to free radicals that can effect decreasing of sperm quality. Watermelon’s rind have an ability for antioxidants effect that can reduce sperm’s damages that results by role explanation of free radicals. This experiments use mice as animals experiment with four treatments and five repetitions as comparition to prove the role after treatmens by extract watermelon’s rind use in orally. Four treatments is : K(-): without explanation and without treatment by extract watermelon’s rind, K(+): use explanation heat stress and without treatment by extract watermelon’s rind, P1: use explanation heat stress and treatments by extract watermelon’s rind dosage 6 mg/mice/day and the last P2 use explanation heat stress and treatments by extract watermelon’s rind dosage 12 mg/mice/day. The results, P2 have the best effect that can be increase the viability and motility of mice’s male sperm (Mus musculus).
