Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the position of the proximal phalanx of hind limb of kacang goat, and has been done on February 2013. 28 samples of proximal phalanx of hindlimb were collected and measured against the long and the joint surface facing Os metatarsal. Based on data all of the ten variables measured that are LAB, LAX, LCAB, LCAX, WCAB, WCAX, LCoAB, LCoAX, WCoAB, and WCoAX can be used as a variable for identification of position of proximal phalanx of hindlimb of goat. The results showed identification position of proximal phalanx can be determined by morphometric of os digiti indicates that there is a difference in size between the abaxial side and the axial side of digiti III and IV.
