Abstract

The aim of this researchis to know the histopathological changes of mice liver hich infected Toxoplasma gondii tachyzoites intravaginally. Experimental animal used eight female mice 2-3 month were divided randomly into two group treatment (n=9). P0 as a control group, gave NaCl physiology 0.2 ml intravaginally, and P1 was treated with 1x10³ of Toxoplasma gondiitachyzoites.Eight days post infection, mice sacrificed and liver of all mice were taken for histopathology preparations were made for further observation. Each of the liver of mice (Mus musculus) processed by Hematoxylin Eosin staining.The results of the observation and scoring degeneration and necrosis of the entire liver histopathology preparations of mice (Mus musculus) were analyzed statistically using the Mann whitney test.Base on the result of the statistical analysis test showed that there were significantly different result of degeneration and necrose in hepatocyte(p<0.05).
