Abstract

The aim of the research was to know the effect of laserpuncture to the growth again of broiler chicken. Chicken acupuncture points which used to be fired were hu men/digestive, beiji/heart and lungs, gouhou/growth point and wei gen/immune. This study was conducted in March – April 2015 at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Airlangga University Surabaya with one shooting interval every seven days. Fourty chickens were divided into four treatment groups: control group (P0), the treatment group dose of 0.2 joule (P1), the treatment group dose of 0.4 joule (P2) and the treatment group dose of 0.5 joule (P3). The data was performed using SPSS 21 for Windows with MANOVA (multivariate analysis of variance) and Microsoft Excel. Statistical comparisons between P0, P1, P2 and P3 showed there was no significant on growth rate (p > 0,05). Laserpuncture had no effect for growth again rate of broiler. The chicken that has been stable to laserpuncture have no influence. Temperature of Surabaya might be the reason that the laserpuncture had no effect for the growth.
