Abstract
This study aims was to prove the ability of Avian Influenza H5N1 clade 2.3.2 vaccine in causing protective antibodies in chickens by Hemaglutination Inhibition (HI) assay . This study used 30 chickens that separated into two groups, 20 chickens vaccinated and 10 chickens without vaccination which from this 10 were used as control for negative field challenge. The vaccinated chickens were given the first vaccine when they were 4 weeks old and then the titer of antibody was observed at the 2nd week and the 4th week after the first vaccination. Then the second vaccination (booster) was done four weeks after the first vaccination. The antibody titer of booster was observed at the 2nd week and the 4th week post booster. Based on the measurement of antibody titer by HI assay on chickens can be concluded that the Avian Influenza H5N1 clade 2.3.2 vaccine can evoke the protective antibody titer in chickens. Key words : humoral, immune responses, vaccine, avian influenza, H5N1 clade 2.3.2
