Abstract
Background: Mother who have a caesarean section have a significantly increased risk of pain, anesthesia complication, imobilization, separation of mother and baby, so caesarean mother usually have increased hospital length of stay. Imobilization and separation after caesarean is strongly associated with poorer infant suck, delayed in early breastfeeding, decrease in success of breastfeeding. So the mother have to do early mobilization and rooming-in after cesarean in hospital to support success of breastfeeding. The aim of this research was to explain the corelation of rooming-in and early mobilization to breastfeed secretion. Objective: Sample of the research were post caesarean section’s mother who underwent the treatment from the first day to the second day and met inclusion citeria was 72 respondents. Methode:The type of the research used quantitative with cross sectional observational analytic design. Sampling technique used consecutive sampling and Bivariat data analysis used Chi-Square test whereas multivariate analysis used logistic regression. Result: Rooming-in p value was 0,026 < 0,05, it showed significant effect that mother’s breastfeed secretion could come out faster than mother who didn’t rooming-in. Early mobilization p value was 0,001 < 0,05 so it showed significant effect that mother’s breastfeed could come out faster than mother who didn’t do early mobilization. Statistic test with logistic regression showed that only early mobilization have a significantly corelation with secretion breastfeed because of rooming-in come out in step 2. Conclusion: early mobilization and rooming-in after caesarean section is associated with breastfeed secretion come out sooner more.
