Abstract

The study was conducted to discover the effect of giving meniransimplicia (Phyllanthusnirur Linn) on oocyst production of Elmeriatenella infected chicken. The type of this study was experimental using a complete randomized design. The data wese analyzed using ANOVA. The research used 21 broilers divided into 3 treatments, namely group A as the positive control group, group B as the group which given meniransimplicia before Elmeriatenella’s infection, and group C was the group which given meniransimplicia simultaneously with the Elmeriatenella’s infection. The data of oocyst production were taken every day, from the 7th day to the 12th day after infection. Result showed that oocyst production at day 9 after infection significant different between group A and B and C, in conclusion the simplicia of meniran could deereaseoocyst production of Eimeriatenella infected chicken. simpliciameniran, Eimeriatenellaoocysts, broiler chickens, oocyst production
