Abstract
Lignan which are formed by oxidative coupling of p-hydroxyphenyl propene units. often link by an oxygen bridge. Lignan was reported as precursor of podophyJJotoxin which show the activity to inhibit cancer development (Leuchner, 1998). Research aboutAlyxia retnwardtii Bl and secondaJy metabolite product analysis had been done. In the present wort., the availability of (+)pinoresinol, a Ugnan derivate. in folium and cortex extracts of Alyxia reinwardtii BI which detenninated in BPTO Tawangmangu was studied by using unpubJished method of The Institute of Phannaceutical Biology, University of Dusseldorf. Germany. The extracts were analysed using TI..C analysis. The spot of methanol to extract from cortex were the same compared standart (+}-pinoresinol, but foJiwn extract were different with standart (+)-pinoresinoJ. Furthermore, the spot from 1LC eluation was analysed using TLC Scanner and showed. that absorbance reflectan spectra profile offolium and cortex extract were different (measmed at ).. =280)
