Abstract

Phyllanthus nirori L, is one of Rubiaceae family's plant which contains of quercetine, (+) cathechine, flavan-3-01, isoflavone, tanin and geraniin. Quercetine, (+) cathechine, flavan-3-01, isoflavone, tanin and also geraniin could inhibit prostaglandin and histamin. The aim of this research is to determine analgetic bioactivity from standardized product of Phyllanthus nirori L. The analgetic bioactivity was evaluated by Writhing Test method. The result showed that standardized product of Phyllanthus nirori L. dose 1 (1,599 mg I 20 g body weight), dose 2 (3,198 mg I 20 g body weight), dose 3 (4,797 mg I 20 g body weight) have analgetic bioactivity.
