Abstract

Periphytic algae was primary component of food chain of aquatic ecosystem. this study was done to observe the degree of polution of Kali Surabaya river according to diversity index of Periphytic algae. the method of Periphytic algae taking was artificial substrat method. the artificial sustrat consist of arragement object glass put at 4 station, was immersed for 30 days. after 30 days sampel was taken for identifing and analizing
