PENGARUH EDTA DALAM MENGHILANGKAN KADAR KADMIUM YANG TERAKUMULASI DALAM INSANG UDANG Macrobrachium sintangense.

Abstract
The objective of this study \\IaS to know the effect of EDT A on the ellimination of cadmium concentration accumulated in the gills of shrimps Macrobrachium smtangense. The first stage is to expose the shrimps in 0,03 ppm of cadmium, so that cadmium accumulated in the gills of shrimps. Accumulated shrimps then exposed to solutions containing fresh water, 0,1 ppm EDT A, 0,3 ppm EDTA. I ppm EDTA aod 3 ppm EDTA during 7 days with 3 replication. Data were analyzed by onc way ANA V A and continued by LSD test to measure the difference among treatment. from ANA V A test, we can know the significant value was 0,003. According to the resulr we concluded that I ppm EDTA had higher capacity to elliminate cadmium which accumulated in the gills of shrimps Macrobrachium sintoniiense compare to those of 0,) ppm EDT A, 0.3 ppm EDT A and 3 ppm EDTA
