Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the effect of giving meniran extract to increase the digestibility of crude protein in broiler infected by Mycoplasma gallisepticum. Meniran contains of antibacterial, antioxidants and can be used as CRD prevention. Twenty five cocks broiler wonchick super strains Cobb were randomized into five treatments (P0 (-), P0 (+), P1, P2, P3). Five repetitions those (P0 (+), P1, P2, P3) were given with the same dosage of Mycoplasma gallisepticum (108 cell/1ml/pieces). P0 (-) (control, without treatment). When clinical symptomps appeared on day 7, three repetitions (P1, P2, P3) were given with the different concentration of meniran extract (P1=60%/1ml/kgBB, P2=62,5%/1ml/kgBB, P3=65%/1ml/kgBB). The data of digestibility of crude protein were analyzed by Anova test followed with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The value of mean and standart deviation (SD) of each group were 97,46b ± 0,35 (P0(-)), 95,21a ± 0,54 (P0(+)),96,90b ± 0,58 (P1), 97,39b ± 0,38 (P2), 97,32b ± 0,54 (P3). The research showed there were significantly differences (p<0,05). The result showed that crude of protein digestibility is P0 (+) gives of lowest different on protein digestibility compare to P0 (-), P1, P2 and P3, while among P0 (-), P1, P2 and P3 on the crude protein digestibility which is same. Meniran extract can increase digestibility of crude protein that infected by Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
