Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the digestibility crude fiber of fresh grass, formulated concentrate and urea molasses block by rambon beef cattle. The research was conducted by providing various combination of feed ration to experimental animals which including 21 female rambon beef cattle with averaging 2 to 3 years old. The experimental design used was the completely randomized design with three treatments and seven replications. P0 was the control grup where cattle were fed fresh grass only, while in P1 cattle was fed with fresh grass combinated with 1 kg/h/d of formulated concentrate, and P2 cattle was fed with fresh grass, combinated with 1 kg/h/d of formulated concentrate and 100 g/h/d urea molasses block. The trial run about 4 weeks period, with 3 weeks feeding trial for collecting data of feed intake and total fecal waste of each animal every day. Result of research showed that digestibility of fiber matter value of ration by Rambon cattle there were significantly differences (P<0.05). The highest crude fiber digestibility was found in grup P2 (85,24%) which receiving combination of fresh grass, formulated concentrate, and urea molasses block.
