Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the change gross pathology and histopathology in Sumatera Elephant that infected by Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpesvirus in Way Kambas National Park East Lampung. This research used specimen of Sumatera Elephant that is tongue, large intestine, small intestine, heart, lung, liver, spleen, and kidney that used to take a data. This research is using a qualitative design which research procedure have a result descriptive data such as words from a person and activities that observe. The result of this research showed the change in Sumatera Elephant that infected by Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpesvirus in Way Kambas National Park East Lampung like petechial to ecchymotic, haemorrhage on the trunk, heart, intestines, tongue, oral mucosa, spleen, lung, liver, and kidneys. The conclution of this research is the change be found in Sumatera Elephant in Way Kambas National Park that infected by Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpesvirus.
