Abstract

The aim of this research was to the description of the index erythrocytes Kintamani Bali dog in East Java. Sixteen Kintamani Bali dog each consisting of Kintamani Bali female and male dog from the Kennel Von Balinese Prigen Pasuruan and Kintamani Bali female and male dog from the kennel Von Brazia Waru Sidoarjo is used in this research. Blood samples approximately 3 ml were collected by venoject given anticoagulant EDTA through cephalica vein. Index erythrocyte counts of Kintamani Bali dog were performed using a hematology analyzer Rayto RT- 76006. The average of index erythrocyte includes MCV, MCH, and MCHC Kintamani Bali female dog in Prigen Pasuruan is 56,4 fl; 14 pg; 24,833 g/dL and the average of index erythrocyte includes MCV, MCH, and MCHC Kintamani Bali male dog in Prigen Pasuruan is 58,54 fl; 14,46 pg; 24,7 g/dL. Value average of index erythrocyte includes MCV, MCH, and MCHC Kintamani Bali female dog in Waru Sidoarjo is 57,775 fl; 16,425 pg; 28,425 g/dL and the average of index erythrocyte includes MCV, MCH, and MCHC Kintamani Bali male dog in Waru Sidoarjo is 58,125 fl; 16,425 pg; 28,275 g/dL. In conclusion index erythrocytes count of the average index erythrocytes Kintamani Bali dog in East Java show is still below the normal range when compared with the general index erythrocyte dog.
