Abstract
English as an International language is very important to follow the devepolment of the world. The people should master English to compete with others from various countries, especially to face of free market in Indonesia, because almost various aspects use English language. English also has big role in academic aspect. In fact, English has been became one of the compulsory subjects in Elementary school. The change of curriculum, in 2015 English lesson was only taught in Junior High School. One example of the public school is SMP N 2 Lamongan that integrates religion based learning and English as an second language in the learning process. In SMP N 2 Lamongan,english language learning process is conducted as early as possible, simultaneously with the character education of students. The learning methods used cannot be separated from the sophisticated technology and knowledge, without leaving the religious elements. As an favourite school, the teacher in SMP N 2 Lamongan also give the additional English lesson everyday . To be an excellent generation, the students taught English lesson since childhood. The writer did her internship in SMP N 2 Lamongan fom 24 th January until 24 th February. During the internship, she was responsible to teach English lesson in 7H, 7I, 7Jand 7K classes. She also handle some duties such as, teach in 9K class, making lesson plans, and scoring the students’ worksheets. The writer not only taught about grammar material, but also she gave some tasks about speaking, writing, and pronun skills. Because she want to improve the English ability of students. As an teacher, the writer taught the students with different techniques to make their students were more fun in the learning process. The writer realized that the teacher has a big role to educate the students. She not only give the materials in the classroom, but also as a monitor students in spiritual intelligence,and intelectual intelligence. Joining the internship, the writer got many advantages. First, the writer has experiences for the next future, second she knew her weaknesses when she discussed evaluations with her supervisor, third she understood the education curriculum set by the goverment. The writer also could manage the time and obeyed the rules in the school. So, when entering the world of work, she was able to adjust well.
