Abstract

After the internship, the writer realizes mastering English is useful to convey information in media which is most Indonesian people do not know because it is only available in English. Many of Indonesia people do not know English very well. The job as a news writer who transfers information from one language to another different language is very difficult because the information should be transfered without change the meaning. The choice of information should be on target. The writer also learns in other position to gain experience in media. Some of the writer’s experiences are being a gate keeper, reporter, poster maker, and event organizer. From these experience, the writer learn that she must concentrate in work, have a good stamina, manage time work, and work in a team. The work she did the most besides being a news writer is as a gate keeper and poster maker. When there are interviewees come to on air with the announcer, the writer had to focus to them and write the information in their conversation. Poster maker is not related to her major in college but she was happy because she can be a big help for SHE Radio. In SHE Radio, the writer also learn about ethics at work place, some of them are being friendly, smile, and greet. The writer believes by doing this could make the company have a positif aura and increase the productivity of the employees. SHE Radio has given precious experience and memories for the writer. The staff in SHE Radio are friendly and helpful. SHE Radio is suggested for those who want to do internship in media because the staffs is kind and sometimes there is a foreign interviewee came to SHE Radio.
