Abstract

The purpose of study was to to examine and analyze empirically the effects of knowledge management namely employee knowledge about OHS toward awarness of hazard, the awareness effect of hazard toward attitude of OHS, the effect of knowledge management about OHS toward subjective norm namely culture of OHS, the effect of subjective norm namely culture of OHS toward intention in implementing OHS, the awarness effect of hazard toward intention in implementing OHS, the effect of attitude on OHS toward intention in implementing OHS and the effect of intentetion in implementing OHS toward employee attitude of PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk. The population of study were employee of PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk in Sidoarjo. Samples were taken by using probability sampling technique by simple random sampling. The number of required samples were 230. The result of questionnaire was processed by using SEM analysis technique. Before it, loading factor and reliability construct was used to examine validity and realiability of research instrument. The result of stude proved that : 1. Knowledge management affected toward awarness of employee hazard in PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk 2. Awareness of hazard affected toward attitude of OHS of employee of PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk. 3. Knowledge management affected toward subjective norm. 4. Subjective norm of OHS culture didn’t affect toward intention in implementing OHS. 5. Awareness of hazard didn’t affect toward intention in implementing OHS. 6. Attitude in OHS affected toward intention in implementing OHS. 7. Intention in implementing OHS didn’t affect toward behavior. The development of theory was done to find result of study if theory of planned behaviour reflect the knowledge management appropriately to perform desired behaviour so afford to influence significantly awarness of hazard, attitude of OHS, subjective norm and intention in implementing OHS supported with possibility to consider some realistic constraints that may be exist.
