Abstract
This research aims to determine the profile of uric acid blood levels and urine pH in patients with urinary stones, along with the correlation between the pH of the urine and the formation of uric acid stones. Descriptive analysis was used on this study. Using 63 patient who was hospitalized in Dahlia operation room RSUD Dr. Sutomo as the subject. The subject was diagnozed with urinary stones from January until December 2016, examining of blood uric acid levels, pH urine, and stone analysis was used as the data needed. Nevertheless, from numerous samples, not all of them get checkup which encompass the three checkup needed in the research. The checkup stone analysis in this research is not diagnosing the stone formed, but only data that shows is there any crystalline carbonate, oxalate, calcium, phosphate, ammonium, gout, and cholesterol on the stone. There are 63 patients who are dominantly men, but only 48 patients inspection of pH urine and it can be resulted that pH urine of Acid (<7) it is the most in great quantities as many as 37 patients (77,1%). While the average of uric acid level of 47 patients whom have done the medical checkup for the uric acid level is 6, 7 mg/dl. Distribution of the uric acid level shows that the normal level as many as 20 patients (42, 6%) and the high level as many as 26 patients (55, 3%). The uric Acid level profil of blood and urine pH in urinary stone patients, shows that acid of urine pH and uric Acid level of blood that has high degree become the most founded by the author. Meanwhile, based on the Spearman correlation test, there are a connection but it was not significant between urine pH and uric acid stones.
