Abstract
This study was aimed to determine the condition of contaminants and aflatoxin contaminant levels in feed ingredients and feed of laying hen that can be used as information for farmers, government and veteranian. This is an analytic descriptive reseach using lanoratory methodology includes Ultra Violet test and ELISA. The sample used in this study were 60 samples consisted of 20 samples of imported (4 samples) and local (16 samples) corn, concentrate (10 samples), soy bean meal (10 samples) and 20 sampels of complete feed, that were taken from 20 layer farmers in Blitar. The results showed that 100 % sample of feed ingredients such as corn, concentrate, soy bean meals and complete feed from 20 layer farms in Blitar positive contain aflatoxin contaminant with the average level 176.54 ppb, 5.49 ppb, 10.4 ppb and 26.025 ppb.Application of UV rays as a screening early in the field is accurate and relevant as compared with the results of ELISA.
