Abstract
Cancer is a disease characterized by the abnormal growth of body tissue cells where in it development, the cancer can spread the death. Thus, in this study, carried out the development of MNPs as drug delivery using nanomaterials to see the effectivity of MnFe2O4 coated Human Serum Albumin (HSA) targeted folat receptor as media delivery system in cancer cells. This research is a true-experiment with post test only control group design. The instrument used was DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering), voltammetry and ultraviolet (UV). Where to see the difference between groups was performed using independent T-test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The result of DLS showed that MnFe2O4 coated HSA has a particle size with average of 184.5 nm. Voltametri analysis shows that the HSA-MF-FA NPs is effective as media delivery system against cancer cells because that found >50% MnFe2O4 in cancer cells. While based Independent T-Test test obtained by value p=0.013< α=0.05 so there is a difference between the control group and the intervention as a delivery system against cancer cells. MNPS development still further can be done in several aspects, one of them with a measure the extent of the delivery system ability to penetrate the layer of cancer cells that MNPS can be one material that is ideal to be used as media drugs delivery.
