Abstract
Energy is needed by humans. There are two kinds of energy that can be harnessed by humans that conventional energy and alternative energy. During this time very dependent human energy needs for conventional energy. The existence of the current conventional energy dwindling, therefore, humans are required to be able to develop alternative energy. Program Desa Mandiri Energy (DME) based biogas is one of the names of community empowerment programs in the field of energy. in the analysis of the performance of the program at least six aspects that need to be assessed: 1) aspect of program inputs, 2) aspects of the process, 3) the aspect of output, 4) aspects of the outcome, 5) and benefit aspects 5) aspects of the impact. Researchers in this study the assessment of the aspects of the impact is the impact aspect becomes final aspect after all aspects of optimal functioning. This study tries to examine more deeply about the impact of program performance Desa Mandiri Energy (DME) based biogas in increasing community empowerment biogas users in Purworejo District of Sanankulon Blitar. Mechanical determination of informants by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the program self-sufficient Rural Energy (DME) based biogas able to encourage increased community empowerment biogas users in Purworejo District of Sanankulon Blitar. This proves that the program performanc functioning optimally
