Abstract
Motivasi berprestasi memiliki dampak positif dan negatif bagi perusahaan dan karyawan itu sendiri. Persentase keterlambatan di Proyek Gresik Gas Cogeneration Plant terus meningkat dari bulan ke bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi dan job insecurity secara parsial dan simultan terhadap motivasi berprestasi pegawai kontrak pada Proyek Gresik Gas Cogeneration Plant. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 53 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda yang dibantu dengan program SPSS 21. Hasil uji hipotesis pertama menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh negatif antara kompensasi terhadap motivasi berprestasi. Hasil uji hipotesis yang kedua menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif antara job insecurity terhadap motivasi berprestasi. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompensasi dan job insecurity secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap motivasi berprestasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompensasi dan job insecurity berpengaruh sebesar 82,7% terhadap motivasi berprestasi.
