Abstract

Burns is a response of cutan and subcutaneous tissue that injuries caused by heat. At burns not only part of the epithelium or heat-affected parts are damaged. In a thorough burns will damage all parts of the epithelium of the skin for regrowth and may be required excision and skin grafting if the damage is great. Fees for services burns very high, the cost of its services at the hospital Turkey reached USD 15, 250, or equivalent to Rp 205.875 million per patient that affected by length of stay (LOS) and the number of operations. In Indonesia there is no research data regarding the amount of service charge for burns patients. Since starting, operations BPJS in January 2014, the government provides health care benefits for the people of Indonesia. Payments made by the health service medical facility with INA-CBG's price. This study aims to determine the total cost of service and to analyze the factors that affect the total cost of service in burn patients The study was conducted prospectively in August 2015 - December 2015 with descriptive and observational methods. The survey results revealed that the cost of services reached Rp 101.712.067 burns per patient and the difference between the total cost of servicing and the claims of INA-CBG's reach negative Rp 81,247,211 (- 80%) which is the burden of hospital costs. The factors that most influence the total cost of hospital services is the number of operations through binary logistic regression multivariate analysis with P 0043 (P <0.05)
