Abstract

Museum is one of government’s efforts to peserve Indonesian culture especially the relic. Everyday, museum was crowded by visitors who want to know about Indonesia remaining object from a long time ago. To know about the objects information, visitors should read the explanation provided in front of the collections. During the internship, the writer got a lot of knowledge and experiences, for example, he guided a group of elementary students, met a unfamiliar word in the annual book, and also knew about the street on Surabaya. Besides, the writer got benefits to improve his public speaking skill in front of a tourist group because many visitors. Now, the writer doesn’t feel nervous when he had to talk in front of a lot of people anymore. The writer also learned to cooperate with his friends during the internship. The writer was so greatful to have the opportunity to do the internship in Mpu Tantular Museum as a Translator Staff and Tour Guide. Because he got a lot experiences which will never be found in another place.
