Abstract

The first is about definition of tourism. Tourism can help the people to make a new job and help the infrastructure of tourist attractions, for example from the entrance fee. It can be used to improve the building or buy some inventories. Discussing about tourism, there is an element of tourism which is really helpful for tourists who need some information about place to go, culinary, and so on. It is tour guide. Tour guide can help the tourist to find out what is the history behind the tourism object. Tour guide has several strategies to guide foreign or local tourists. During the writer’s internship as a tour guide in Monumen National (MONAS), she found several strategies that used in Monas, such as good communication skill, sense of humor, sensitivity, and good time management
