Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know prevalence of Fasciolosis in beef cattle especially in subdistrict of Bangorejo and Glenmore in Banyuwangi regency, and to know there is an absence and influence regions typology for the spread of Fasciolosis. Method that used in this research was survey system. This research used fecal for examination, fecal was examined with three technique there are native, sediment, and floating. The result of this research is there are 33 samples positive in total, subdistric of Bangorejo has 22 positive sample and subdistric of Glenmore has 11 positive sample. The presentage of prevalence in subdistric of Bangorejo is 44% and in subdistric of Glenmore is 22%. The total prevalence of both are 33%. In general the highest level of Fasciolosis’s prevalence in subdistrict of Bangorejo. The result of Chi Square Test is 0.019 (p < 0.05) so that this research indicated that regions typology has effect agains of Fasciolosis.
