Abstract
Young learners have various characteristics. Teachers should have some strategies and ability of managing class to face their characteristics and teach them in the class. It needs a long time to match the characteristics of students and the strategies. Good strategies can motivate and encourage students to learn the materials in the class. One of the strategies is „whisper to write’ game. This game can make the students happy and fun. Because the students were learning while playing. They felt having fun in the class. But there were three obstacles when „whisper to write’ game was applied, such as confusion with instruction, different ability of each students and behavior of students. Many students did not understand the instruction although the writer retold it again then the writer practiced the way to play „whisper to write’ game, and this way could make them understand the instruction. The students who have the ability lower than other friends felt confused when they were playing „whisper to write’ game. Because they didn’t know what they should do during playing this game. Then the writer came to them and help them. And there were some students who have mischievous behavior. They liked to disturb their friends when their friends were playing „whisper to write’ game and. And then,the writer asked them to remember about the rules, and this way could make them obey the rules.
