Abstract

This study aims to describe the organizational capacity building through the hospital management information system to improve quality of health services in RSUD dr. Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya. This study uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type. Informant determination technique used is purposive for internal hospital officer RSUD dr. Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya and accidental technique for patient RSUD dr. Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya. Technique of data collection is done by interview process, observation, and document study. Data analysis tecjniques performed by way of data condensation, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclutions. Examination of the validity of data in this study conducted data triangulation techniques. The results obtained from this study illustrate that the organizational capacity building through the hospital management information system still has problems, namely in the aspects of facilities and infrastructure. With the existence of these problems, it is necessary to organizational capacity building in seeking the application of the hospital management information system to run optimally.
