Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengruh variabel nilai tukar rupiah, SBI, dan PDB terhadap Aliran Modal Jangka Pendek di Indonesia. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode OLS dengan data time series secara kuartalan dari tahun 1992.I – 2009.IV. Variabel-variabel yang digunakan adalah nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dollar AS, aliran modal jangka pendek (portfolio investment), suku bunga SBI, dan PDB. Hasil estimasi pada penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa nilai tukar rupiah dan PDB berpengaruh terhadap aliran modal jangka pendek di Indonesia. Sedangkan SBI tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aliran modal jangka pendek di Indonesia.
