Abstract

In an advanced era of technological advancements, the need for every human being for information increases ncreasingly. With the existence of an online media today, people choose to use and follow its development. Because online media is considered to be faster, accurate and credible if used in information retrieval. Online media that is currently developing is a directory that is packaged online that is accessed using an online network. Historic place is a place that has its own history or story that has a certain attraction in terms of its history. At present some people begin to have an interest in new things that have a unique history and are still awake for its historical value. But historical places are usually far from the reach of the community and are not well known by the wider community for its existence. This is because the community does not yet know. With this Offline Directory of Historic Sites in the City of Surabaya, the author hopes to help people who need information about historical sites in the city of Surabaya to make it easier for people who want to visit. Making Directory products using content from Wixsite. This Directory Product contains information about history, information on services, facilities and transportation that can be used by the community to go to each place. This directory is compiled based on the classification of regions and types of places, and is equipped with a search feature to help search information. This Directory website does not contain all historical places in the city of Surabaya, because there are several places that have not been visited by the author and are incomplete in the presentation due to the limited time.
