Abstract
Cross infection is an accident that occur in health workers who have puncture by needle or injury by sharp objects before, after or when providing health service. These injuries can transmit the diasease that originate from the pathogen in the blood, like Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. This study aimed to determine the behavior of nurses is a predispoding factors include the level of knowledge and attitude of nurses, enabling factors include the infrastructure and the reinforcement factor surveillance system, reward and punishment, and also to determine the correlation between three factors for compliance safety and health programs in efforts to prevent cross infection in Siloam Hospitals Surabaya.
