Abstract
The aims of this study was to identified the variety of gastrointestinal eggs worm of Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) in Surabaya Zoo. This research used the descriptive design. Thirty six faecal specimens were taken from nine Sumatran elephants faecal samples were collected from one location in Surabaya Zoo. Isolation of gastrointestinal eggs worm showed 0%; 38,9%; 5,6% positive results respectively for native, simple sedimentation and floating fulleborn methods. Based on size and embryo cell (characteristic) specification of eggs isolated) were identified two genus eggs worm are Fasciola spp. and Oeshophagostomum spp.
