Abstract
Racial inequality has not been an issue in contemporary America. However, the existence of racial inequality has never abolished.There are two types of principle upon responding the inequality which are discussed in this study: being realist or idealist. The existence of Black Panther movie (2018) is interesting to be analyzed because it has majority of black casts and crews. It also brings the name Black Panther which has ever appeared in 1960s during Black Power Movement. This study aims to discuss about how Racial Realism and Racial Idealism portrayed in Black Panther movie (2018) in a way that it can promote racial equality through the negotiation between Realism and Idealism. The findings suggest that the movie offers the world a solution to the inequality which still exists by negotiating Racial Idealismthrough Racial Realism. In the other word, hopefully, this movie can bring an insightful perspective to contribute upon solving racial inequality issue.
