Abstract

In the current era the development of science and information technology has a very significant impact on libraries, librarians, and readers. Technological developments also change the mindset of users who want to get more accurate, fast, concise and easily obtain information. Information that is in accordance with the user can be realized through an information service provider in the form of a directory. The author chooses the topic of the Jamu Shop Directory in Surabaya because Jamu is a traditional medicine derived from the Indonesian cultural heritage. This directory aims to provide information about herbal stores located in the Surabaya area and as a reference to the user to determine which herbal shop is chosen as a place to cure complaints. The way to create this directory is to collect data through a survey directly to the herbal shops in the Surabaya area, take pictures of the herbal store, determine the subject, classification or grouping and select the directory application. The Herbal Medicine Store Directory in Surabaya provides information about the store name, shop image, owner's name, address, brand of herbal medicine, opening hours, price, year of establishment, telephone number and location map. The author takes pictures of herbal shops in the Surabaya area to make it easier for users to find these herbal shops. The classification of products of the Herbal Medicine Store Directory in Surabaya, namely location, opening hours, complaints, consumers, forms of herbal medicine, herbal brands and prices of herbs.
