Abstract

The survey was conducted on Bali cattle breeders in Tomoni District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study was to determine the reproductive efficiency of Bali cattle (Bos javanicus) that use the marriage system by artificial insemination. The results of the data were collected through interviews based on questionnaires that had been prepared and conducted direct observations in the field, as well as secondary data obtained from the local livestock service department related to this study. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained that the reproductive efficiency of Bali cattle (Bos javanicus) in Tomoni Subdistrict, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi is quite good because the conception value obtained is 74%. The value of S/C is 1.44. The CvR value is 93.75%. The DO value was 111,41 days. CI value is 392.47 days.
