Abstract
The result of the stUdy Ihat Ihe regulalion concerning the funclion of Notary Public as Ihe Generat Official has been regulaled by Ihe Nolary Regulalion Stb. Number 3 Year 1860 jo. Arlicle 1868 Indonesian Civil Code. According to Ihe posilion of Notary as The General Official can be understood from ils promolion, reliremenl, and compelence. Nolary, who has compelency in making any aulhenlic deed, is promoted and relired by Ihe Governmenl (Minisler of Juslice and Human Right Commission)
