Abstract

A simple, rapid, and economical method was developed for determination of triadimefon in cabbage using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). This research aimed to determine of value validation parameter , resolution (Rs), coefficient of correlation (r), Vxo, limit of detection and limit of quantitation, percent recovery, and relative of standar deviation. This separation was performed by GC Agilent Technologies 6890 N, equipped with 19091j-413 HP-5 30,0 m x 320 μm x 0,25 μm column and using helium as carrier gas. The initial temperature of the oven was 75 °C held to 3 minutes and then increased at rate 25 °C/minutes to 180 °C and increased again at rate 5 °C to 300 °C held to 3 minutes for approximately 34,20 minutes analysing time and the mode is EI (electron impact). The assay was selective with Rs = 1,97 and linear in a triadimefon concentration range 10 to 35 ppm with regretion equation y = 266961,8282 x – 476247,0233 (r = 0,9990) and Vxo = 2,43 %. Detection and quantitation limits were 0,03 ppm and 0,09 ppm.The average recoveries of sample were 76,33 % with relative of standar deviation 4,20 %.
