Abstract

Method for determination of pesticide residues of endosulfan used cabagge by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (MS) has been developed. Sample was chopped and extracted by chloroform as extraction solvent selected in the optimization. The average recoveries from endosulfan I = 77,42 % (% CV = 8,04 %), endosulfan II = 80,64 % (% CV = 5,67 %), and endosulfan sulphate 106,43 % (% CV = 7,05 %) . The detection limits of endosulfan I = 0,12 ppm , endosulfan II = 0,13 ppm, and endosulfan sulphate = 0,15 ppm and the quantitation limits of endosulfan I = 0,39 ppm, endosulfan II = 0,39 ppm , and endosulfan sulphate = 0,45 ppm . The proposed method can be applied to quality control process because it has simple extraction process and short analysis time.
