Abstract
Aglaia odorata VIIB is one of the endophytic fungi isolated from Aglaia odorata Lour. The objective of this study was to assay antimicrobial activity fractions of extract Aglaia odorata Lour. against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 8739, and Candida albicans ATCC 10231. Antimicrobial activity was determined using disk diffusion method. A total of four fractions from eight fractions showed antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, one fraction showed antibacterial againts Escherichia coli ATCC 8739, and no one fraction showed antifungal againts Candida albicans ATCC 10231.
