Abstract

Aim : to 1) determine the pattern of drug combination therapy, 2) view clinical and laboratory data on the therapy given, 3) identify the DRPs (Drug Related Problems) in patients of diagnose lung tuberculosis co morbid pneumonia at Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. Methods : studies conducted with observational , descriptive, and retrospective method. The study started from January 200 9 - December 2009. Information gained from medical documents i.e. identity health, di sease history, diagnosis, drug therapy, clinical, laboratory, and microbiology data. The study focused on the therapeutic use of drugs and identification of DRPs. The results compared with the literature. Results : out from 51 patients, 34 (66.67%) were male and 17 (33.33%) were women. With frequency of anti-tuberculosis drugs used are ethambutol (92.2%), piranzinamid (90.2%), isoniazid (88.2%), rifampin (88.2%), streptomycin (13.7%), and FDC 4 (13.7%). The most fre quently antibiotics used are ceftriaxone (98.0%) and ciprofloxacin that also stated as empiric therapy (56.9%). Regiment therapies given are in accordance with the literature. Conclusion : according from the result, showed that regiment therapy give were appropriate according to the literature.
